Excessive fee

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I borrowed 1000$ (1076$) and two auto payments each 98$ were debited from my account (196$). I then after about a month had enough money to pay off the whole thing so I did.

That final payment was around 1300$ ! So it cost me 430$ to borrow 1076. Ridiculous for having paid it back so quick.

I think the kicker was the insurance part which they make it seem is a necessary part of the loan. Nice racket you have going there.

" Nice racket you have going there." LOL... What a moron.

Did you bother to READ and UNDERSTAND what you were getting into, how the money would be applied? Clearly not or you wouldn't be here whining like a chump how VOLUNTEERED for this nonsense. Great post on what real MEN/WOMEN do NOT do when it comes to financing. Of course, I could be wrong.

They may have forced you to take their expensive money at gunpoint.

OK...Say it... "You must work for them."

I know I am stupid. They prey on my type. 400$ for 1000$ is crazy but when you have dolts like me in the world it's easy to screw up.

This is one of the worst companies ever. Warning to those considering a loan from this company ** PLEASE DON'T DO IT I took out a loan about 6 months ago for my rent.... originally wanting $1,000- Mind you, I am 21 and clearly seemed naive with regard to finances, while speaking to a representative of the company. The gentlemen convinced me to take out $6,000 even after I said no multiple times. I was stupid enough to agree after his persistence. Needless to say, here I am..... 6 months later- not a single cent of the $370 I pay monthly has gone towards paying off my loan, it's all been for interest (which is what I'm looking at for the next 2 years unless I somehow come up with a few grand a month) not the easiest thing to do when you have other bills such as rent (not cheap) Thank you Easy Financial for putting me in more debt than I was already in, and preying on the young and naive. You guys really f'd me over- here's to a long life of *** for me... looks like I will be riding it out with this debt over my head :)

Yes don 't borrow from Easy Financial

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I just became a customer of Easy Financial. I'm on EI benefits and got approved for a $5,000 dollar loan when I only ask for $3,000. I'm told that I own $13,869.00 for a 60month term loan of 46% interest rate. And 47% on obligation interest which means Easy Financial charging me 94% on a $5,000 dollar loan. I'm asking for them to take bi-weekly for how I got this loan which they'll not change or do. Plus I was misled into signing an online agreement they rush me into not informing me of the interest rates. They have broken the agreement knowing I get paid every two weeks and fighting with me to pay them every week. Now I'm getting collection calls every ten minutes of wanting my payment bi-weekly. This company is a scam company that feeds off low credit rating people who really needs help and putting them into further det. Easy Financial is broken the law with these extortions, racketing outrages interest rates which they don't tell you upfront. Easy Financial think holding their disclosure agreement I sign over my head is to control me into meeting their needs. I told them I would rather have this taking to the courts before I pay these outrages 94% high-interest rate. Then I have customer service call me making an easy payment toward the interest rates which I lol. They only will do it for the week payment and not for the bi-weekly which makes no sense. I ask them what would they like to have guarantee payment every two weeks or nothing at all. This company is the biggest scam artist in this field that the law allows them to rip people off they're worth them the mob.

Summary of experience with Easy Financial

I took a loan out with easy financial in August 2019. I've a gambling addict for years, at the time my credit card was close to maxed out had nothing in the bank.

Anyway i took out the loan, very high interest at almost 50%. I didnt accept the interest or other fees that they tried to push would have been higher otherwise.

They've been pulling payments from my account like clockwork every two weeks. They've called my multiple times asking me if I want to increase the loan and each time ive politely said no.

Like I said Im trying to get away from the gambling, ive started to work to payoff of credit card and am continuing the make the easy financing payments, should be totally debt free in the next few months. The point Id make about easy financial is that they are open about how they work and their interest rates etc.

The loan document I signed clearly outlined the total interest and the overall debt obligation, I mean yes its crazy high but unless you're unable to do basic math no one enters into a loan with them no knowing what the deal is.

They dont but a gun to anyones head. My advice is to look at yourself, ask yourself how you got to a point in your life where you felt you had to take out a high interest install loan

Beware

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I got laid off from my job , luckily I paid for insurance to protect me from overcharge . the payments continued to keep coming out causing my account to either go bounced or payment effects my rent and bill money and ends up short. I told my branch what was going on and they placed a stop payment to all, but the payments still came out sometimes more then twice a week. they change the amounts of the payment in order to gain access to my account causing me more problems . Im on ei and between my rent and my bills im broke. Thanks to easy financial , I now are forced to close my bank account. The loan insurance is *** and doesn't protect you in time of distress when you need it. Wtf

Need a class action lawsuit against EasyFinancial

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
You are paying back 3 times the amount of the loan. I missed one payment because ive lost my job. But asked them to wait 3 weeks so i can pay them the entire amount owed from my severance that will be paid. They told me no, they cannot wait that long and will put it on my credit report as well as send my account to a third party collection; if i do not sign up for a renew loan with them. I asked about the insurance i signed if i lose my job, they said it only applies if i was layed off, not fired. 3 weeks was all i asked them for so i can pay off the loan entirely. And they said no....

Good Day Everyone, I was wondering where can we file a formal complaint regarding easyfinancial? and any chances of winning from this company?

Or do they have deep pockets, that even the ones where we complain this about wouldn't help out? Thank you so much!

Guest

just ignore them until you have the money

Machele Imf

Stop with the "class action" nonsense. You for a loan and agreed to the terms and conditions.

You then lost your job and asked them to wait. They said no, as they are entitled to do and now you want to blame them.

They offered you a solution but you declined to renew the loan. Take responsibility for your actions, not blame the company.

And there you have it. The loser's lament, "you must work for them." You see this a lot around here when someone is confronted with a comment that doesn't match their lame narrative.

Pull the paperwork, find the "compassion or empathy" clause, take it in there and you should be good. DO NOT agree to anything unless you've READ it, UNDERSTOOD it(e.g.no mercy pay them) and are MAN/WOMAN enough to honor your signature.

It's that simple. There's a reason you people are crawling to outfits like this for expensive stupid money, you can't be trusted by anyone else to do the right thing.

Sad that he or she lost their job and they wouldn't help them out for a few meager days till he could pay.

Scammed for more money then we borrowed

My husband became ill and could not work anymore, he took insurance on the loan which they took off the loan. The loan was for 3400.00, he paid for one year on the loan the money went to the interest not the amount. They eventually closed my husband account at 8500.00 and sent it to a third party collection the amount is now 17000.00 that is interest. My husband is on a disability and in the hospital on a breathing machine. The collection agency I spoke to who is ms foster she said the interest will keep going up everyday. We don’t have the money she does not understand it is very stressful I am ready to go to the media.to me this is a scam when the loan was only 3400.00 and they are scamming for 17000.00. What can be done this is disgusting. I want something done about this company. It is enough that my husband is ill.
